Jacob Cate is a freelance cartoonist and graphic designer from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He graduated from UTC in 2025 with a Bachelors in Studio Art (with an emphasis in graphic design), and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Creative Writing.

He is the artist and co-founder of Everyday Magic, an independent video game studio. He practices digital art, pixel art, hand-drawn media, and professional and creative writing.

When he isn’t drawing, Jacob likes to read fantasy books and play video games.
